You know how TikTok just knows? Like you weren’t even looking for a recipe but suddenly a 15 second video comes across your screen and you stop scrolling and think,  I need to make that right now. That is exactly what happened with these frozen yogurt clusters and I have not been the same since.

I saw this floating around on TikTok and immediately went to my kitchen. And I am so glad I did because what started as a fun little viral recipe has turned into a nightly ritual in our house. Me and my husband grab one  of these every single night after the kids go to bed. It is our thing now. Our little treat, our wind down snack, our reward for surviving another full day of parenthood. And honestly? We have zero plans to stop.

The best part about this recipe, and I say this as someone who has made a lot of recipes, is how incredibly simple it is. There is no baking, no special equipment, no complicated technique. Just yogurt, fruit, chocolate, and a freezer. That is it. And what comes out the other side is this cold, creamy, chocolatey little bite that feels like dessert but is actually pretty good for you. That combination is rare and I treasure it deeply!

Let’s Make It

Start by mixing your Greek yogurt with your fruit of choice. You can fold in blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, sliced banana, mango, whatever sounds good to you. Use enough fruit to get a little bit in every single cluster.

Mixing Frozen Yogurt Clusters ingredients in a bowl

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon small dollops of your yogurt mixture onto the parchment,  think about the size of a large cookie, maybe a couple inches across. Don’t make them too thick or they will take forever to freeze and be hard to eat.

Baking Frozen Yogurt Clusters

Pop the pan in the freezer and let them freeze completely. at least 2 to 3 hours or overnight if you are prepping ahead.   Once they are fully frozen, melt your chocolate. Mix the chocolate and spoon full of coconut oil in a bowl. You can do this in the microwave in 30 second intervals stirring in between, or use a double boiler if you prefer. Drizzle or spoon the melted chocolate over the top of each frozen cluster and watch it harden almost immediately on contact with the frozen yogurt. It is so satisfying every single time.

Pop them back in the freezer for just a few minutes to make sure the chocolate is fully set and then they are ready to eat, or store in a freezer safe bag or container for grabbing whenever you need a little something sweet.

Tips and Variations

Use whatever fruit you love. Blueberries and strawberries are a classic combo. Mango and pineapple give tropical vibes. Banana with peanut butter mixed into the yogurt is absolutely unreal. There is no wrong answer here, this recipe is completely yours to customize.

Greek yogurt is the move. It has more protein, less sugar, and freezes beautifully. Vanilla flavored or plain both work great. If you want a sweeter cluster use vanilla, if you want more control over the sweetness go plain and add a little honey.

Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, or white chocolate all work. Dark chocolate gives you that slightly bitter contrast against the sweet fruit and creamy yogurt and it is chef’s kiss. But use whatever chocolate makes you happy, this is your snack.

Add toppings before the chocolate sets. Want to get fancy? Sprinkle some crushed graham crackers, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, or a pinch of sea salt on top right after you drizzle the chocolate and before it hardens. Elevated snack achieved.

Store them in a freezer bag. Once they are fully set transfer them to a freezer safe zip bag or container so they don’t take up a whole sheet pan in your freezer forever. They keep for weeks, if they last that long, which in our house they absolutely do not.

Prep a big batch on Sunday. These are perfect for meal prep. Make a big batch at the start of the week and you have a healthy dessert option ready every single night. Future you will be very grateful.

TikTok gave us a lot of things but honestly frozen yogurt clusters might be the best thing to come out of that app for me personally. A cold, creamy, chocolatey little bite that you can feel good about eating,  every single night. You are welcome in advance.

….and that’s all we did today.
